The Gifted Writers' Mentorship Program with Veteran Writing Coaches from Leading U.S. Colleges

The Liberal Arts Collegium Writing Program is an invitation-only mentorship program for gifted high school writers who are ready to deepen their craft and pursue writing at a more advanced level. Through intensive one-on-one mentorship with veteran writing coaches from leading U.S. colleges and universities, including Amherst College and Harvard College, students pursue their individual interests in creative writing, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, literary analysis, and academic writing.

Grounded in the belief that good writing is good thinking, the program goes beyond conventional writing instruction. Our coaches work with each student as an emerging writer, challenging them to take intellectual and creative risks, develop greater depth and sophistication, refine an authentic voice, and produce ambitious work that reflects their individual interests and potential.
